Scenes from the "N" Bar Series
The "N" Bar cycle was begun in 1987 and completed in 1990.  It follows an evening spent in Juarez, Mexico beginning with the walk over the bridge to the plaza ("N" Bar Night #1), the early evening wait at the bar ("N" Bar Alone #2), the gathering of friends and transactional commotion ("N" Bar Ladies #3), the growing companionship later in the evening ("N" Bar Angels #4), the last dance ("N" Bar Cumbia #5), and finally, the walk back to El Paso, Texas at day break ("N" Bar Dawn #6).

For many years Miss Livermore was a fixture at the "N" Bar.  Often she would go there to write in her diary, to make sketches, and plan the following days activities, for it was a place filled with life where she usually sat alone.

These images are now available as prints.

Each picture is done in a limited edition of 400 with an embossment in the lower left corner stating the edition number.  Miss Livermore's signature appears on the lower right hand side of each print, and in the middle of the bottom margin, Miss Livermore writes in light pencil the title of the particular print, i.e., "N" Bar Night #1.  The width of each image, not including the margin, is 18", whereas the length varies form 26" - 28".  All images are printed on 180 lb acid free Arches watercolor paper, with archival inks.
